ship in bulk together?

Unread post by nomoredramamama75 »

I'm going to write to 1o actors/ actresses on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. I was thinking of doing it this way. Prepare the letters individually with the SASE's folded into 3rds and included in a business sized envelope. Address the outer envelopes individually as I normally would except don't put postage on them. Put all 10 of the business-sized envelopes in one large envelope. Address the large envelope and go to the Post Office to have it weighed so it'll have the proper postage. Mail the large envelope to:

"Days Of Our Lives"
c/o NBC Studios
3000 West Alamada Avenue
Burbank, CA 91523-0002

Or do you think it would be better if I mailed the letters individually? I've read something about how they don't accept packages anymore due to an Anthrax scare. Do you think a big envelope would look like a package and freak out the secretary or something?

Thanks for your feedback. I've sent 5 individually on Saturday. Wish me luck!

Because I have many more requests that I plan on sending, I've just sent an email to "Days". I've asked them if the large envelope idea is acceptable. It wouldn't be worth saving a little on outgoing postage if the whole thing gets "recycled" into the trash can instead of even getting returned to sender. Then all of my SASE's would be wasted.

We'll see if they even respond to my email inquiry. :?
