I have gotten successes with both typed, emailed and handwritten. Lately, I've been sending a lot more handwritten letters, and I've gotten a bunch of successes from that. Here's hoping the handwritten letters are good!
Favorite Autographs: Luciano Pavarotti (IP), Joan Baez, Dorothy Hammill (IP)
Newest Autos: Tim Allen, Daniel Radcliffe x3, John Lithgow

I type. It's quicker for me.

All though my handwriting is neat, I still plan on typing. but, I always end up forgetting to add something and just write it in pen and sign my name below the typed part. {thumb2}

I'm going to start handwriting from now on, whenever I send requests.

And like Lucas, one of my penpals decorates letters she sends me. I think people at our post office like to see what she's put for stickers on my letters when they come. :D I've also been planning on decorating my letters and such.

I use greeting cards from my country Romania which are beautiful and I can write up to 10-12 rows of text on there. I always handwrite and include a small present from my country, like a small Dracula keychain, pin etc.

Im not very experienced in recieving Autographs, but I would recommend that when writing a letter, you make yourself comfortable and relax your arm, as well as clear your mind, and think about what you are writing.

Many people can be subject to rushing it and going a little off track.

I too believe in Writing it by hand, and not typing...

I don't think it matters. I type all of mine and have had pretty good luck.

I write them by hand. I just feel great while writing them. I don't know why.

hm...OMG :neutral: ... so I´m not English but for the most part I understand what the people write... but I identify with an admin that a long letter is a bad letter (now I read only the first message in this topic because folding (with dictionnary) isn´t very easy... :? I think that handwritten is better... It is more....intimate

PS: I hope that I undestood this topic and the appreciation of this accession... :mrgreen:
