Jennifer Garner IN PERSON!

This is my first BIG in person success.

I was in New York City for a high school drama field trip. Being a drama trip, we saw a few plays. 3 to be exact.

First up was The Drowsy Chaperone. Easily my favorite musical next to AltarBoyz. It had BOB SAGET! in the lead role, and afterwards, I bought a signed cast playbill for 20 dollars.

Next night was Legally Blonde. Surprisingly good, I definitely reccomend it. Been listening to the soundtrack quite a bit.

Then was Saturday. We were leaving but had a play scheduled before we left. Cyrano du Bergerac. Never heard of it at the time. Then I saw the poster which had Jennifer Garner on it. Being dumb and stuff, I go, AS IN "THE" JENNIFER GARNER?! Everyone was like, "Yeah, stop drueling on your ticket. Unfortunately at the end, they didn't sell signed playbills, only posters for 100 dollars, which needless to say, I couldn't afford being 15 and all.

There was a big crowd of people outside of the cast door. I figured I wouldn't have the chance to see anyone since we were leaving, but then I saw Mr. B, a chaperone, there as well. I was like "Hey, could I get an autograph?"

"Well, technically you're not allowed. But if I'm staying and you just happen to stay behind talking to the usher then happen to come out around the same time as Jennifer Garner does, I couldn't stop you..."

Tight. So I ended up there with three of my friends and she came out to surprisingly little commotion, no screaming fanboys(except me, of course). She came over and got to me. I had two playbills, one for my friend who was taking pictures of her. Then we ACTUALLY HAD A SEMI-CONVERSATION!

"Hey, this one is for my friend behind me, could you sign it as well?"
"Sure! Wait, you're not gonna sell it on eBay, are you?" *laughs*
"No way, he's right behind me" *point to my friend*
"Alright, it's cool, I got it!"

*thud*
That's where I fainted. Except not really.

So now I have a relatively big in person success. I framed the playbill, and I'll post some pictures of the autograph and Jen later.

That is amazing that you got to meet her! Nothing beats an in-person autograph, because now you'll never have to doubt that it's real! She seems like such a nice person, and I absolutely love her little daughter Violet! What a doll! Congratulations on your success, and please, please scan in pictures if you have them! We'd love to see them!

that's awesome. i was originally planning to fly to NY this winter, but i didn't have the money. i was mad when i found out jennifer would be doing a play there. can't wait for the pics!
