Hi Andy,

Is their anything that can be done about the cristisms in the posts I make,

It's just two people always keep posting comments, about how many times I write to a celeb, and it's not fair at all.

Please can you help me!

Ive told him I'll bring it up here and get back to him. What do you guys think, is the criticism unwarranted? I can see his point, who he writes to and how many times is his business, but at the same time writing to the same celebs 8 times in just 2-3 months is overkill :neutral:

my opinion is he write's way to many letter's to the same person, i mean how many time's has he wrote to the likes of vidic, danni minogue etc..... it has to be more than 5 time's in the last few month's.
it's just people being honest and just asking him why he keep's writing to the same people over and over again, i don't think it's criticism at all.

I agree. If it is to a fan mail address, then its meant for fans to send to. I don't think they really keep track of who sends to them. Celebrities have these addresses out in public for a reason, which is for their fans. I think it is up to him to decide how many times he wants to write.

I only mentioned it as it seems odd that he should write to people over and over and over and over (you get the point ) It's taking advantage of their genourosity.

I have also noticed this, and although I can see that it is a personal choice to re-write over and over, I can also see that for one of our Trainees to be doing this, then they obviously don't understand the process of collecting

Or at least collecting politely :neutral:

There doesn't seem to me to be an excuse why somebody would need to write that frequenly to the same celeb.

I understand that they might be getting impatient, but if the celeb has to send out 5 requests to one collector then there are potentially four who do not get their reply If it were just a collector then I would say, "OK they don't know any better", but as a Junior Mod I feel this is inappropriate. In which case I feel that other moderators are within their rights to point this out

Please feel free to refer them to me if they still feel they are being treated unfairly

Well I don't see a problem in that. If he likes to do that and chooses to, it's his choice, not anybody else's. Maybe he thinks some celebrities rarely reply so he keeps writing to get one, in case that celebrity just chooses some fan mail randomly (some actually do that). But other that that, there is nothing wrong and it's his money to buy stamps and send.

Certainly a healthy mix of responses so far, which makes sending the guy a PM a little difficult :neutral:

Theres now a thread about "sending to the same celeb multiple times" (http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 252&hilit=) could be worth keeping an eye on for possible arguments.
