I am trying to contact Mika during his brief, upcoming US tour and he is playing smaller venues.
(For the record, I have viewed the list on this site, which is brilliant, BTW)
In the past, it hasn't been hard to get a contact e-mail to ask this question of venue's that are not listed on the site. I either google the venue with city or go to Wikipedia. Usually, there is an entry and at the bottom it will have a link to the venue web site.
I've only found info for 4 of the 8 venues. The one's remaining are the Orpheum Theatre in Boston and The Warfield in San Francisco plus The Wiltern in Los Angeles and The Electric Factory in Philadelphia. The last 2 have myspace pages, so I tried sending messages there just today. It seems to me that these Live Nation-owned venues never have their own web sites and don't have info e-mail's specific to the venue.
Any other ideas about furthering the investigation. I would call, but I can't imagine people would be thrilled to talk with me. (i.e. It seems more appropriate for e-mail.) Nevertheless, it would not hurt to ask, I suppose.
Please share any insights or suggestions!

Yeah, I've got 2 "no's" and the biggest excuse for a "possibly, but probably not" ever.
It drives me crazy when they say they "can't." Just say you don't!!
(Though that is certainly preferable to no response at all.)
All I need is one solid "yes" and I will be happy!!

If the venue you're looking at isn't on the DOES pass on fanmail list, or the DON'T list, you could find the venue's website (if they have one) and ship them an e-mail asking if they forward fanmail.
Re: Finding Info About Venue's that Do/Do Not Accept Fan Mail
That's exactly what I have been doing, but, as I said, it seems the Live Nation-owned venues do not have their own web site, nor do they have a discernible e-mail address for general information. The number of Live Nation-owned venues is growing rapidly. Let's hope they don't start micro-managing and making blanket policies a la House of Blues.

Did you email The Moore Theatre? I think they may pass on fan mail. Please let me know if you find out because I would like to send a letter to another performer that has an upcoming show at The Moore.
