Small Name Change

I just take off the L. in Peyton L. for my username. I thought it would be easier just to be Peyton.
And easier for me to type Well, Happy Holidays! [xmastree] [reindeer]

Quick question though (for you, or anyone else who does this), why do you type your name at the bottom of each post? I've seen a few members do it and never really known why... [reindeer]

Some people like to sort of formalize their posts by "signing" their posts like they would a letter. I personally don't do it that often, usually only when I'm using the CP...

I actually do not know.
I've just always done it.

Hi guys

I always sign my post (always have done always will etc etc )

The reason I think I (and some others) do, is that my member name is not the same as my real name - so it just gives members (mostly new ones) the chance to put a real name to me

I didn't think we could change our names, I thought only admin could do that.
