I would rather not receive anything back at all. Autopens and stamped photos are worthless to me.

I remember getting into this before.

Anyway, an AP is better than nothing because it's still legally the person's signature. If it's good enough for the court system, it's good enough for me. It's still their signature, just not the original. It's still an authentic autograph.

Not authentic enough for me though  I'd rather have absolutely nothing at all than an autopen, stamp, preprint, whatever. To me a signature is something that comes from a person's hand. In the case of fanmail, that SHOULD come from the celeb's hand. Anything else (just to me, at least) is a sentimentally worthless copy and you might as well call it fraud.
AUTHENTIC, OR NOTHING AT ALL.

Wow! Those are strong words. {up} I'll have to think on them, especially in regards to secretarials.

In order to have closure, I think I'd rather get a letter from the celeb's secretary denying my request than no response at all. Of that, I'm sure.

I would actually rather get back an autopen or a stamps than nothing at all. Atleast if I get one of those back I will not to try again. If I get nothing back I might waste my stamps trying again.

How about option 4. I'd rather get a letter stating that the person is too busy to sign. At least that way I don't have to wait for a response anymore
AP, PP or secretarial are not considered a success in my opinion, but I guess it's better then nothing.

Autopen. Autopens are just as good to me as anything else. I'll take anything I can get through the mail. I know it sounds greedy, but I don't think that I could ever be picky with this hobby.

Yeah I'm good with that actually. I don't want an autopen, stamp or preprint, but a letter from a secretary or whoever saying that the celeb can't sign is the next best thing to an authentic - for me.
