Via Venue question...(sry i didnt know were to post this)

Unread post by xoxmaris1398 »

I sent SASE's to the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, but didn't get anything back. I was wondering: When they get the fanmail at a concert via venue, do they take what they didnt sign with them on the road? Like, would they take all the fanmail with them, or throw it away?

hey xoxmaris1398, I would think that as long as the venue gave them the mail, they would take it with them and get to it when they get time

I know the Jonas Brothers take their mail with them on their tour bus.

Hi :)
I sent SASE's to the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, but didn't get anything back.
Actually, it pretty much depends on the tour promoter. For example, if the venue is at Verizon Center (I'm just pulling the location out of thin air), the people handling incoming mail at the center will pass the letter to the tour promoter (in your case, Miley's tour promoter). The tour promoter will then pass it to Miley.
If the tour promoter does NOT feel like passing the letter(s) on, then the performers will not receive it.
My point is, if you do not get anything back after waiting a couple months, it is probably because the tour manager/promoter did not pass on the mail.
I hope that kind of helps :)
