Most are unlisted, but I have found some that aren't.

I've done it. Seriously, I found a "celeb" in the white pages, picked up the phone, and called them.

They weren't that famous, but they were kind of famous. I did it for school newspaper interviews.

They were all very kind, and did the interview.

That's really cool. I'd love to call Alyson Stoner and just get to talk to her for a while. Do you plan what you're going to say before you call them?

Just out of curiosity who have you called?

I'm doing interviews for a school newspaper, so I write out the questions ahead of time.

And as much as I would like to say who I've called, this would just bring attention to the fact that they're listed in the white pages, and would cause a spamming of phone calls. An email address is one thing but their home phone number is completely different. That's a huge invasion of privacy. I'm not saying that you specifically will call them, but others probably will. So, I'm sorry, but I can't say who I've called.

Even more of an invasion of privacy than writing to a celeb's home address in my opinion. (Assuming you mean phoning their home phone number) Borderline stalker.

I totally understand. It is a huge invasion of privacy. I was just curious. Too bad I'm not doing interviews for a newspaper lol. Then I'd have an excuse to call them. But I totally understand that it will not be a good thing to do unless you have some reasonable good purpose.

And then we, get all surprised, when celebs stop signing autographs.

We get mad, when someone we dont know phones us. Please give them a break.
Like anyone else, they deserve a little bit of privacy, and for a certainty, this should not be approved of in any way, shape, or form on this site.

By all means, use their agents, maybe they can help out.

Sorry it doesn't matter, how good the cause, be a little less selfish, and stop it.

I wasn't thinking of doing it. I was just wondering if anyone has ever thought of doing it Atomic Ant. I hope you understand I wasn't going to do it. I would've been too frightened or nervous to anyway...

And I'd like to (yet again) state that the people that I've talked to have accepted autograph requests over the phone before, and they aren't big celebrities. I could say the names right now, and you'll have to look them up to see who they are. And in most cases, they had agreed to the interview before hand.

Remember, they're listed in the phonebook. How big do you think they are?

I don't think I'm going to call someone like Kelly Clarkson. As much as I would love to I just wouldn't be able to... whether it's because I'm too scared or whatever.... but yeah. I guess what I'm saying is overall I don't think I'm going to call any celebrities unless I decide to make a website for them and want to make it official fansite or maybe an interview like MW1221 said.
