How about a seperate authenticity forum?
Where all authenticity debate threads could go, and all questions could be asked. There seems to be an increase in these threads lately, so how about a seperate forum?

That's always something I thought should be here. That way, only members that "want" to know if their auto is authentic can post it there and maybe new members that are excited about their pp or autopen won't be completely shot down by everyone chiming in on the "authenticity" of their autograph.
Great suggestion, Andy. {thumb2}

Re: How about a seperate authenticity forum?
That would be a great forum
as there seems to be quite a few, who would like to know that info.
And, it's quite true, that some do view any success, be it AP/PP/sec as that.
But there must be a little warning, once asked, if anyone has pretty good prove agianst, someones beloved autograph, being the real thing then that must be taken on board. If we cannot take the negative, simply dont ask.

exactly, but a lot don't ask and still get the many opinions, ya know? A seperate forum would be perfect for those discussions.Atomic ant wrote:That would be a great forumas there seems to be quite a few, who would like to know that info.

Re: How about a seperate authenticity forum?
Absolutely right.
I'm one who loves, to know the truth, about my autographs, all day long.
But saying that, if someone has spent, loads of money, on postage, to get a couple of autographs, maybe it's best thay dont know.
So a seperate forum, is fab.
Thanks agian, for your hard work Andy.

Most of the topics will be locked due to arguing.

sugary apples
Its a great idea. ST has one and it has generally civil debates.
Re: How about a seperate authenticity forum?
I think most of the arguments are from the people that dont want to know, like when someone post feedback, and someone else just replies "autopen"Peyton wrote:Most of the topics will be locked due to arguing.

Not really, as if people dont want to know "the truth" then they shouldnt be going into that forum.Peyton wrote:Most of the topics will be locked due to arguing.
The arguments tend to stem from feedback threads, and/or people ignoring the proof in front of them (side by side autopen comparisions for example)
