Heath Ledger wanted

I know that this is a long shot but I have been trying for over 2 years to get his autograph without success. I was just wondering if anyone has his autograph and if you do are you willing to sell it? Pm me, thanks

If I were you I would wait. His death yesterday will result in an immediate mark up in price, and because of this there will also be an increase of fakes around, with people trying to capitalise on it (as always when someone famous dies). Wait a few months, then look on a well respected site. Do not use eBay or trade with anyone on here for it.

Be warned though, an authentic will be vastly sought after and very expensive. Ive seen one authentic going for close to $300, and before his death it was only around $40.

Now is not the time to try and buy his autograph.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I got one from him years ago. And I would never get rid of it. I do know of a respected UACC dealer that has 1 or 2 for sale. But they will set you back about $150,-. Wait till the fuzz dies down and try again in a few months. But chances are, it will cost you about $100,- even then.

Thank you for your help. I think I will wait a couple of months before I try to buy one.

Hello All,

While I realise that this particular section of Fanmail Biz is dedicated to the purchase or trade of autographs and I respect everybody's right to do so, I find it somewhat 'tacky' and tasteless to be seeking an autograph of someone who has only just passed away within the last few hours. Surely it would be more appropriate to wait in circumstances such as these?

It is well known that Heath Ledger's authentic autograph was quite easy to obtain (At least it was well known to Australian fans), either through the mail or by purchase at reasonable prices, and chasing it just now seems far too 'commercial'.

I do not mean to offend, but a 28 year-old man has died, leaving behind a grieving family and a 2 year-old daughter, can we not at least have some respect in these circumstances?

When I wrote this topic I wasn't aware that he had recently passed away. If I had known that he did I would have never posted this subject. Sorry to have offended you
