IRC-HELP
hi!i am from greece and I want to send a letter to a celebrity in USA.In order to get a reply I bought 3 International Reply coupons.In my post office they told me to just inlude them in the letter.however,I read here that they need to be stamped with the date of purchase.So I want to know if its nessecary to stamp these IRC or just to send them

Hey charis! Welcome to the boards!
IRCS are often stamped to be valid (I think). If you are to send to any foreign country, included at least 2 IRCS in your letter.

Hi, it also happened to me that I bought some unstamped IRCs and I emailed to the post office and they answered me that it´s not a problem, they wrote IRCs are valid without stamp. But I also read they must be stamped, that´s why I emailed to the post office.

I had this problem a while ago.
I told the Post Office that it had to be stamped,
and they said no.
And I still did stand for my word.
so, the post office on my place, called the biggest post office in Norway.
they told that I had right.
so all the UNstamped IRCs were valid.
but I got new IRCs, instead.
so ya, I would have stamped them
