Whats the big deal? You have to click a link, is that all? You dont even HAVE to post a link/pic, so theres no way you can introduce a rule forcing people to use imageshack and show the pic in the post. The few that dont post a direct link do it because they CAN'T, because their website layout doesnt allow them to.

Do you really expect people who have websites to upload them to imageshack AS WELL as their website just so you dont have to click a link?

Sorry but this is one of the most ridiculous things Ive ever heard complained about on this forum. There are much more important things that could be changed/improved on this forum than worrying about clicking a link.

Well you would know because you're one of the few who posts a link but it gets annoying. If you already have it on your computer, you can upload it right here.

Why should I upload it to a second host? Ive uploaded it to my site, its hosted. I dont need to re-host it, what would be the point, or the benefit to me? Nothing!

Several members upload to imageshack but dont use the IMG tags, are you complaining about those too?

I still cant believe you're complaining about having to click a link.

It is a big issue sometimes, when you have people with a non-English site. I tried looking for someone's autograph but for one it took forever to load all the smileys and photos and links on the site and for two I couldn't figure out where to find what as IT WAS IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE.

In that example I can see your point, but BABI ANGEL posted above saying she even has a problem when I (as an example) post a direct link to the image, which is completely over the top.

no..I meant LOOK for it, not in direct so you really have no business to say anything that because you give a link that directly shows the image. I am talking about when people just give a link to their websites and you have to go search for it.

You made a big deal out of it. I just pointed out something I didn't like and there were people who agreed with me but you JUST had to put your 2 cents in and say stuff. I'm not trying to look for an argument, but you're the one that said I'm making a huge deal out of it, but I'm just stating that it gets annoying. This thread has been a few days old already and since you ALWAYS go around making comments, you would've noticed this thread already and before you made a comment here, it was just a "yes", "yes", "no, I don't think it's a huge deal" and lastly "It's not a huge deal..seriously.. you're making a 'HUGE' deal here". I would say if the link doesnt go directly to the photo, and you have to take time looking for it, then just dont enter them in the drawing, post something like "if you would like to be entered in the drawing, please post a link to the photo, I cant find it"

I put my "2 cents in" as I thought that was the point of the forum/thread, like I said earlier. I wasnt aware you only wanted people to agree with you, you shouldve said that and I wouldnt of posted.
