How much postage should i put on if i am sending a 9x12 letter, a 9x12 letter inside of it, 8x10 picture and a letter?
then how much should i put on its way back. It would be a 9x12, 8x10 picture
also if i added some cardboard would that cost more?

For the return letter-9X12 SASE and 8X10 photo will by 0.80
With what you are sending TO the person, I think it will be two ounces which is 0.97
Out of the country is different.

im mainly wondering from oregon to arizona, for spring training in feb-march.
97 cents? is that too much? because i thought 2 stamps on the way out would be fine? can you buy like 25 cent stamps?

i just sent some out yesterday and it does come out to $0.97-ish for the package YOU are mailing. it's not really a problem in regards to stamps because you're paying the postal worker as you deliver it and you can use cash/card.
There's nothing like seeing your own handwriting on a letter addressed to yourself in your mailbox
