James Earl Jones

Unread post by classictvguy »

Ok- I've got a question about sending to James Earl Jones.

I wrote to him 3 years ago and he signed my notecards. It was one of my first successes and is probably what hooked me on autograph collecting.

I want to send him a Sandlot DVD cover to the regular address in the database but I am concerned on if it is a waste or not.

On January 19 one board member recieved a letter saying that James Earl Jones will not be signing until after July 1st (see below).

But on January 31 one board member recieved their items signed. (See below)

So should I send my DVD insert to him or not? I don't want to get a RTS and waste stamps. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I received the same note saying he won't be signing until July 1st..I'd just wait, which is what I'm doing.

In the second link, the member says they "forgot to post it", so from that I'd assume it wasnt recent.

Best to wait until July 1st.

I forgot to post the signature when I posted everything else. I think I got it on the January 30th or so, can't remember exactly. I'm not sure what to tell you - he may have signed my right now because of our auction - I have no idea.

Read my post in that first thread:

He is currently in rehearsals for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. I assume this takes up a majority of his time. If you want to send a letter out before July 1 try:

Broadhurst Theater
235 West 44th Street
New York, NY 10036

He will be there 2/12/08 - 4/13/08.
