Shambler (who has just been demoted from Trainee back to standard member) and Lizanne certainly seem to know one another

Their IP addresses are VERY similar (so much that they they are probably in the same building - on the same router - i.e. school, library etc). I have grave reservations in promoting her until we get to the bottom of all of this.

My gut instinct is that they are one in the same person.

Just my opinion though - you guys have got to work with her

Now here's the deal with Shambler and I:
Firstly, we are DEFINITLY NOT the same person... at all!! I have a website with all of my autographs on it, and Shambler only have 5 autograph (which I only know who Jonny Wilkinson and Jonathan Rhys Meyers are... ). Why don't they just do a search on, for example, all of Shambler's post in the "Autograph Collecting Discussions" forum - you'll see that she rarely answers to me or my topics there, and when she does, she doesn't even agree with me! Now how can that be the same person??? :neutral: I want to prove this to everyone who's suspicious and I am more than happy to do it. Please let me know what shall it be:
- a photo of myself (yes, I'd really go that far! )
- my phone number
- my login details even?
- I'm sure admin can check our IP addresses? Let him do that mabey?
Or I'll give you all of the above, but I want to show everyone that I'm not Shambler!

Secondly, I always try to be very nice and polite to everyone on ths board. Definitly not just Shambler! And why do people just see our friendliness, why can't they see I'm friends with Sammya, Larisie, reaper07, hangman, etc too?? I really don't think that Shambler and I are best friends on this board... No, we actually don't agree on much! Ok, I have to agree that I think that Shambler has an attitude. I can tell you now that there's nothing going on between me and Shambler, out of all the posts we made, there's probably just 10 - 20 posts where we're talking to each other, and mostly don't agree on much! We just sometimes help each other out because we're the only active South African members on Fanmail.biz, surely that's understandable? We feel we can contact each other to find out about the availability of IRC's and so on, that's one reason. Suspicious members can send questions to both of us, and they'll see the responses are very different! I mean, if you were the only US or UK member on this board for 2 years, and suddenly there's a new member, also from the US or UK, of course you would befriend them and ask them things! :razz:

What would a photo, her phone number, her login details actually? I see no reason why she'd offer these as "proof" as clearly it doesnt prove anything :neutral:

Her point about checking her IP address is interesting, as thats whats started this thread off. Her IP address proves at the very very least they're using the internet is the same building, and generally at the same time, so the chances that they know each other in real life are quite strong. HOWEVER she doesnt state that she knows her in real life at all. So to me, the suspicision remains as high as it was before I read that PM.

EDIT - PMing her telling her it was me who thinks they're the same person might not have been the best move, now shes sending rude/sarcastic PMs to me (PM posted in other thread)

EDIT 2 - Just because "The responses will be different" doesnt mean its 2 different people. On another forum I'm a member at, one person have something like 12 different accounts, all with "different personalities", so again, this means nothing.

And, surely if Lizanne and Shambler were the same person, they wouldn't admit to it, so of course she would be denying it. Just like DwightKschrute did with the whole Fudgemonkey situation.

Yes, Andy does have some great points. What can we do to get to the bottom of this?

EDIT: Funny how whenever someone said, "I think Lizanne would be a great mod" in the poll for Lizanne in the TM forum, Lizanne would always thank them. But when Shambler said she'd make a great mod there was no thank you form Llizanne. And I know Lizanne read it because she was in the forum at the same time as me.

The IP check isnt working for me right now, it wont load, but then my internet is currently on a go-slow so that may be why, so I cant check...

But yeah, Shambler is the one who sent the rude PM, I'm assuming she found out as when lady josie PM'd her about it, she must've named me as bringing the subject up, thats the only way I can think she knows. If lady josie didnt name me, then someone else told her, which opens up a can of worms :neutral:
