But if lady josie didnt name me, Lizanne wouldnt know it was me. She might assume, but she wouldnt know 100%, and the way Shambler spoke in that PM, she knows 110%, so someone inside the Mod forum must've told her...

Lizanne probably did tell shambler. like lizanne said, they are apparently the only two users from South Africa.. maybe they've bonded or something (wild guess, lol). since they're from the same area, maybe they feel like they can "connect" and tell each other their troubles, i dont know.

I also noticed that the writing styles are different between Lizanne and Shambler. Of course, it wouldnt be too hard to change one's writing style, but (assuming it is the same person) to do that everytime is too much of a hassle. I dont know about you guys, but I'm going to assume that these two users are two different people; they may be friends, or acquaintances, but I really don't think they are the same person.

Would you guys be okay if I keep PMing Lizanne on this? I won't mention any names, but I am going to try to see if I can clear any more of this up.

Feel free to keep PMing her. But I dont get how Lizanne couldve told Shambler if you didnt name me. Its not something that could be guessed, so someone mustve told her...

Here is what she said (and again, with her permission to post):

TheCollector (Ian) pm'ed Shambler and told her about it. Because he thinks Shambler and I are the same person, she's not even a Trainee Moderator anymore! The day after you pm'ed me about this issue the first time, Shambler pm'ed me too and told me that TheCollector pm'ed her. She also told me that she sent the "rude and sarcastic PM" to TheCollector and Andy316. So that's how she knows about it. Actually, I can't imagine that people would think we're the same person, we differ so much! I'm not like her at all!

NO, I do NOT know Shambler in person/real life at all! I'm 17 years old (I'm turning 18 this year) so obviously I do not work at a building, I'm in school. The only reason I can think of that the IP addresses are similar is because the cities(Pretoria and Johannesburg) where we live are about 40 km apart, that quite close. We rarely talk online, definitly not more than some of my other online friends! Even if we did know each other personally, why would it matter? But no, I swear I do not know Shamlbler personally.

Well 2 things....

1) That doesnt explain how she knows it was me who claimed theyre the same person. I do have a theory how she knows, and thats a certain other un-named member has told her, but naming names is pointless as theres no proof.

2) The IP addresses suggest theyre in the same building, not 40km apart. If they were that far apart theres no way the IP addresses would be near identical.
