Angeline Jolie & Brad Pitt!

I live in the Detroit area, but I was in L.A. and waited outside the Independent Spirit Awards. I saw a whole bunch of people and got a bunch of great signatures (Forrest Whittaker, Jason Batemen, Parker Posey, Dennis Quaid, Sienna Miller, Ellen Page, among them), but the highlight was Brangelina.

They arrived a few minutes late and it was raining, so they went directly in and waved. Even from afar, it was clear Angelina was pregnant.

After the show, there were a lot of paparazzi and such and it was totally crazy when Brad and Angelina came over to the fans. They went right down the line and Angelina signed my "Beyond Borders" DVD. Brad wouldn't sign because I had a blue sharpie and he apologized but he doesn't sign in blue. What a movie star *****!! It all happened to quickly to get my black one and I didn't get pictures of them.

I'm sure a lot of you saw the footage and her outfit made it very obvious that she is pregnant.

I'll try and remember to scan the DVD cover this weekend, but it isn't the neatest signature.

Yeah, is there something I don't know about blue ink? Do eBay sellers use it more often or something? Just meeting stars of their magnitude is a big deal though.

Yes, eBay dealers (and IP collectors) do use it more often. The reason is black permanent ink fades and becomes brown over time, while blue Sharpie does not (or at least not nearly as fast.) Exposing the black Sharpie signature to light will make it brown/fade faster. However, because celebs don't really know why they prefer blue, they assume that blue=for sale and black=for fans, or that for fans, it's all the same while for dealers, blue is worth more. Both of these ideas are obviously not the case.

cool succes and its true about black sharpie all my ttm succes except, for june foray were in black, and for my ips their have been a couple in blue but again most have been in black. and most of the autographs that have been bought are in blue.
