Does sending a brown envelope effect your chances at getting a reply from an agent? Someone told me that they hadnt recieved any autographs using brown envelopes and that some agents only reply with white envelopes :S

I REALLY don't think the color of an envelope would matter. It may just be that particular person uses their own envelopes that happen to be white. 8)

I have never heard anything about envelopes being turned down because of color, I have heard that you not supposed to send the envelopes that have the metal clasp(mostly found on the brown envelopes) through the mail. maybe thats what they were talking about

As far as I'm aware, the pathetic ideology that is racism does not extend to envelopes  I use both brown and white return envelopes and both are successful. I tend to like brown envelopes more as they conceal whats inside, therefore not giving my postman any ideas ;)

TTM = Through The Mail. Again, the person who told you this stuff about the envelopes, is talking utter nonsense.
