Tips for a begginer?

Ok, I have always dreamed of starting my own autograph collection, but I'm not sure exactly how to go about doing so. Does anyone have a few tips they can share with me?

Well, I can tell you the basics lol!

1) Make a list of people you want to write to.
2) Find addresses for those people. (Use the ones with test results on fanmail.biz)
3) Write some "fan letters"
4) Put your letters in envelopes and include an sase with each one (self addressed, stamped envelope)
5) Seal your envelopes, address them to the celebrities, post them and wait for a reply {thumb2}

MySpace is a great place to contact your favorite stars too.
I have recieved many Autographs from singers on myspace.
Personally, I'm not into actors or sports stars, I'm into Musicians

just be careful, review their page good. Dont be fooled by a FAN PAGE.
You can always email them with the subject line "PLEASE ADVISE" and ask politely.

"Is this the Official JANET JACKSON MySpace page or another FAN PAGE?".

Usually, if you go to the artists official website, theres usually a link to their MySpace page too. Once they respond, ask for an Autographed photo and include your name & address.

personally, I ask for their address and I send my CD inserts to them to be signed.
