Any of you reuse letter templates?
Just wondering if any of you guys 'reuse' letter templates or do you start from scratch to every celeb you write to?
Re: Any of you reuse letter templates?
by templates i mean a generic format that you've written to actor/singers etc.
Re: Any of you reuse letter templates?
I dont even see how a template CAN be used. Every celeb is different, so therefore every letter is different

I guess you could call it that-
Start with my name, age, location
Tell them what I like about their work
Other things I like about them
Request
More praise

Well I think the structures of our letters are all the same, but as for formact, I do not really understand what you mean.

Re: Any of you reuse letter templates?
ya i do i start of with dear_____ ima big fan of yours i love you work etc and so on
Re: Any of you reuse letter templates?
i reuse certain paragraphs in my letters...especially if I'm writing to a cast on the same show.
Re: Any of you reuse letter templates?
I start from scratch, but I have a mental organization as to how the letter will go. Start with letting them know I'm a fan, go on to talk about some of their works, and then kindly ask for an autograph. I keep it simple, but make sure they know I'm a fan and not a collector out to sell things (my request for personalization takes care of that).
There's nothing like seeing your own handwriting on a letter addressed to yourself in your mailbox
