Ralph Fiennes Failure

Unread post by mymymy »

Waited at the stage door of the Gielgud theatre after a performance of 'God of Carnage' on Saturday in London'd West End with a about 10 other people.

First a man came out saying Ralph would only be signing play realted items - not even autograph books.

Than 5 miutes later the same man came out and told us that due to unforseen circumstances Ralph would not be coming out to sign. Everyone was very dissapointed, myself included after waiting nearly an hour especially after we were told he would be coming out.

I think he is a reluctant signer.
I think he is abit big headed - I personally dont think he is a brilliant actor but thought I would try to get him In person.

A consilation was that I managed to get Tamsin Greig's autograph.

He is doing photos, a friend got a HP one signed. I've tried with no luck as well, will keep on trying though, even if I have to buy a programme!

Did you see Ken Stott?

I did not get Ken Scott. I waited just over an hour after the show then gave up. I will try Ralph again - I will try to get him to sign a photo but will have a flyer or programme also just in case if he doesnt sign the photo.

I met him at the stage door following his last NYC play, "The Faith Healer." He would lean back so he wouldn't have to hear you talk to him. I just said the usual, polite "Thanks for performing here in the states, I really enjoyed it..." and he totally ignored me. Is it that hard to smile and say "Thank you!" Nearly every other celeb I've ever met does!
