It's best you don't send as Russell won't be there and they will more or less chuck your letter without forwarding to his agent. 2008 is just around the corner, so we'll have a better look at when exactly filming will start and the proper address.

I called the number to Scott Free and the guy on the phone said that he didn't know if they would forward fan mail or not.

He said we could send our request, with the name of the celeb on the envelope, and it would go to the assistants in the office. But he did not know if they would forward it or not.

So it could wind up in the bottom of some trash bin.

Unless they say they will definitely forward it I hesitate taking a chance. I have mailed off quite a few requests to venue addresses and have only gotten two successes. Many of those said they would forward them but I never heard back. So either it goes to a publicist and they never pass it along, or the star doesn't want to sign it, or the star is too busy to sign it, or the star is getting too many requests to sign them all---or something like that.

I recently got a success for Liam Neeson, which means the studios did forward requests to the stars, and yet I have heard nothing back from Antonio Banderas who is at the same film set. So, either it was lost or he doesn't want to sign, or there are too many requests, or he is too busy.

At this point I don't know whether to take the chance. One letter costs around $3.70 for postage and photo paper and the envelope. That isn't a lot. But when you mulitply that by 10, or 20, or 30 then it becomes a lot of money that is wasted if you don't hear back.

But then that's all part of this hobby.
