What amazes me is that he is a 19 year old with such stinking attitude. I love how they talk big on online forums but in real life they would duck and run.

Members with bad attitude should be banned without even the slightest hint of another root of the problem. It just shows how their negative character can affect the forum and its members.

Im am gonna stay neutral in this case, but I feel Andy did the right thing. Being polite to an already uncontrollable member would be a waste of kind words.

Its this ridiculous "softly softly" approach that has caused a lot of the problems on this site in the last 6 months.

No offence, but Im not wasting time being overly polite to someone like that, and Im pretty sure no one else would either.

Time for my chime to ring.

It;s clear that members like this need to be banned, so there shouldn't be any question on it. And if a moderator gets a death threat (serious or not) that member needs to be banned, not just put on an ignore list. If you made a death threat to someone in public, you'd be arrested, so why can't these members be banned for making the same type of thing.

And as for what Andy did in his PMs to the member, I agree with Andy on this. I didn't see anything wrong with how he handled the situation. Just because the other member was blatantly opposed to any open mindedness about following the rules, doesn't mean that Andy (or any other mod) needs to back down in a situation like this. Andy did his job 110% in my mind.
