LEATHERHEADS UK PREMIER GEORGE CLOONEY HUGE SUCCESSES

Today I attended the UK premier of the latest George Clooney and Renée Zellweger film, Leatherheads, my mission to get George's and Renée's autographs.

I arrived at 5.20 and got an excellent spot right up front of the barriers. First George arrived at 6.15. He got out of a silver car just before the start of the barriers and walked along from thier, this was excellent news for me because I was one of the first to meet him. He was walking swiftly but stopping for photos and autograph but soon realises he did not have his own pen. When he got to me I asked can you sign my photo and autograph book for me, he said sure, do you have a pen, I franticly reached for my black sharpie in my bag (all the other times I had been to premiers the stars had thier own pen so didnt realise I would be needing mine). I handed the pen to George and he signed an autograph book page and my 8X10 glossy photo of him. While he was signing I told him 'I am a huge fan of yours' to which he replied 'you got it brother' - how cool is that - he moved on I was left open mouthed and gobsmacked. One thing I have to say is that George is very good looking. I know many women know that anyway but I didnt know what all the fuss was about. I am the starightest guy ever but even I could see what all the fuss was about when I stood a few inches away from him (even the photos don't show it - you just had to be there in person) He was an lot slimmer than I thought and he just looked totally different, you could just let he was human and I was amazed how down to earth he was.

Anyway shortly after George moven on from where I was a car pulled up slightly further on from where I was and Renee got out. She started signing from where she got out so we called her but she did not go towards wher I was and never did. So I decided to move and get try to get her elsewhere. I picked a good spot and she came close, signed one or two then went away but said she would be back. She did come back 10 minutes later and signed for everyone who wanted it. George signed as much as anyone wanted but Renne refused to sign more than one item per person. She was nothing like I expected. She was very random the way she was signing, whereas george did it systematiclly she darted back and forth between different spots and when i came to what she would sign she was very particular. I had a lovely 8x10 of her from Bridget Jones which she refused to sign instead she signed my autograph book. She also turned down photos from other people - 1 was a photo from Miss Potter. When I told her I was a huge fan when signing she gave me a strange look. She hardly smiled and I feel she is abit full of it - i think the fames rally gone to her head.Not a smile, just a weird look, I cant describe it really. Anyway good think Im not a huge fan of her's otherwise i would have been extremly dissapointed.

Anyway i got what I came for. Its strange how before I came I though Renee would be the really sweet one and George would be full of himself. Infact it was completely the opposite.

A friend of mine was there too. And I'm going Friday in Paris for the french premiere. I hope I would have as much luck as you.
About Renée, I'm not surprised, my friend who meet her twice told me that she wasn't that nice... :neutral:
