i didnt get to meet mookie wilson

hey guys tonight was terrible, as a lot of you know ive been looking forward to meeting mookie wilson ,for forever i had two special items i wanted signed the book the bad guys won(about the 1986 new york mets) ,and a foul ball from shea stadium, anyway me and my dad were waiting for a while to get a good spot in line for the signing so we get in line, and my dads talking to one of the guys, runnning the signing hes like me and my son are looking forward to meeting mookie, and the guys like he cancelled last second you didnt hear ,pat tabler is coming instead, anyway we got his autograph instead but still i wish i wouldve got mookies.

i wound up getting signed a progam and a blue jay baseball both personalized from pat and dont get me wrong pat was super nice and was a great player, but as a mets fan mookie is the ultimate, pat played for the mets too but hes no mookie. now mookie had a real reason to cancell it wasnt stupid so ya sadly someone in his family past away but still. like i said pat was extremly nice he talked to me took a picture with me, and the signed items are in a good spot but still.

btw the signing was at blue jays alumini night every friday home game is throwback night a alumni member signs before the game and they were their old jerseys. i am from toronto like i said but i went to shea last year thats wheir i got the foul ball, and im a mets fan but also a jays fan. but ya hopefully mookie comes back,but when david cone comes i will get him to sign the book and ball. anyway peace guys

My dad and mom were at the game when mookie hit the ball between buckners legs....classic.

For his birthday we got him a signed picture (huge picture) from Mookie and Buckner on the famos play (mookie is sprintng to first, while buckner is looking behind himself watching the ball) GO METS.

Hopefully he will show up at another signing though

thanks and yes im a die hard mets fan, well tabler was sceduled for another night to sign, so maybe mookie will sign, that night instead because a guy usualy only apears once. the only reason tabler made it was because he does the colour on the blue jay games. but ya when david cone comes i will get him to sign the book and ball, and whenever mookie comes then ill get him to sign them also. i guess i couldve got tabler to sign the foul ball but i dont know. anyway man it was bad thou i felt so upset, i was looking forward to meeting mookie so bad and i was looking forward to having those items signed. but what are you going to do

its was very disapoiting and i hope i get to meet him again, like i said imma have to wait a month to get the book signed david cone is going to sign it.
