Question: I know that people should expect like 3 months etc for autographs to come back but I have had NO success. Here's what I've sent:

May 21- Steve Carell and Ben Barnes
May 29-Hugh Jackman, Shia LaBeouf, and Josh Duhamel

May 25 (through Studio Fan Mail): Alan Alda, Alexis Bledel, Henry Winkler, Julia Stiles, and Tobey McGuire.

I thought it was really odd I haven't gotten the SFM ones back. Especially since it says expect about 2 weeks and it's been almost 5.

Is this normal?

I've had some SFM requests on hold since last year and still nothing. It does take a while for some requests to come, especially if they're high-profile stars. It happens to me..like when someone gets something back, I expect it'll come but it wouldn't come back until a few months. I think the key is to just keep waiting and don't worry about it.

It's only June, you sent those in May. You have to be very patient as an autograph collector, and count yourself lucky if you get something back within three months of your success.

You know, I wrote a letter to Zac Efron on december 2006, two letters to Jesse McCartney on august 2007, one letter to Kelly Clarkson on september 2007, an other on april 2008, and a letter to Edward Speleers on april 2008, and I never received something ! You're not the only one who feels unliked lol, me too =( !

Don't lose hope! {thumb2} Looking at recent feedback received, you can expect your Shia autograph soon (if you included a SASE). You might hear from Steve Carrell also soon as there's been recent successes from him too. Duhamel is currently filming "Transformers 2" so you might wait a few more months to hear from him. As for Barnes, he's currently busy promoting "Prince Caspian", plus, he must be flooded with fanmail at the moment!

SFM can take anything from a few weeks to 6+ months! Also, they can't guarentee you that you will get all those requested so you might want to resend some if you haven't heard from them after a few months.

OMG I got an autograph today! I walked out to my mailbox after work and there was a big white Studio Fan Mail envelope. It was Alan Alda's! Now I'm more optimistic about the others coming back! YAY!
