I was traveling back home from a 10 day humaitarian trip out of the country recently. When I got on the plane and sat down I looked up...and there was Dominic Monaghan and Evangeline Lilly gettting settled into firstclass infront of me!!! They were really layed back and they didn't seem to want to be messed with, so I decided not to bother them until everone was getting off the plane. As everone was getting off, I stayed in my seat until Dominic had come up to it. I found my voice, stuck out my hand, and said "Hey Dominic, how're you doing?" As he shook my hand he said he was fine and asked how I was. It was amazing. Dominic looked just as handsome in person as he does on tv, and he has the most amazing accent!
I didn't get to say hi to Evangeline until bagage claim. I walked up and said hi. She was rushed, but still very very sweet. {thumb2} She was absolutally stunning, even though she had just gotten off a 7 hour plane ride with no makeup.
No photos or anything because they said they didn't want to create a disturbance in the airport (my friend had asked her for a picture). I'm going to send my plane ticket stub to Dominic and ask him to autograph it since I didn't get a chance to ask for one at the airport.
They were both totally amazing people, and I think these are my favorite celebrity encounters I've ever had.
