If no feedback on autograph requests....

Does that mean that they just don't sign? Because i've seen big name actors not have any feedback listed on their address page, should I read alot into it? Also, I sent some photos for an autograph requests to a couple of pretty unknown actors, does that make them more likely to sign? Thank you for taking the time to answer this.

Firstly, welcome to Fanmail.biz! {clap} I hope you enjoy it here!

To answer your question, don't worry too much about whether there has been feedback received or not. {thumb2} There's always a first one to post feedback and that could be you! But rather don't bother with actors like Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Jake Gyllenhaal or other huge stars. I remember that I was first to post feedback here for actor Charlie Cox (from "Stardust" and "Casanova") and Alfred Molina (from "Spiderman 2" and "The Da Vinci Code").

Perhaps you could post a list of those you would like to write to and we'll be able to tell you your chances of getting a reply. Also, a great way of getting "hard-signers" is to write via venue (movie set) - so far it has worked great for me!

Hi!

As for pretty unknown people without any feedback - if there's no feedback, there's a possiblity they sign, but no one has written to them, but that's not the rule. You can always try it and be the first one as Lizanne said, because they more likely sign. I was the first (and the last yet ) to add a feedback for two pretty unknown Italian actors' addresses, there was no feedback before and I took a risk and it worked. However, I've tried to contact more those Itailan actors but only two replied. So you never know. I agree with Liz that the list of people you'd like to write would be heplful for us.

Likewise I don't really bother reading too much into the fact that some people have no feedback.

I also agree that if you want some of the big names out there via venue when they are filming or on tour is the best method by far, I think most people must get the big names this way ;)

As for newer names, I guess they would be more likey to sign as it'll all be new to them, but don't get me wrong some of the well known celebs out there do reply to everyone, it'll just take a lot longer for them to respond as they will be in-dated with fanmail

I don't know if anyone would know who they are, but I sent a request with a photo to Michael Massee (Revelations, guest spots on 24, Nash Bridges) and Jeff Kober, (Guest spot on 24, Walker, Texas Ranger). I don't suppose I might luck out and anyone here has tried before? Thanks.
