Hey Everyone

Its been a while, but I am back and on the go with fundraising. I am running the 2008 ING New York City Marathon this November in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity (I hold one of their Gold Access Running Spots for the event) and fundraising is going well so far.

Online just now are LOADS of auctions - some ending today, more ending later this week. Items up for sale include signed items from Lee Mead, John Barrowman, Jack McKenzie, Sir Peter Blake, and loads loads more - a LOT of Dr Who items among others. There are signed trading cards, original artworks and a signed football from the Aberdeen FC squad.

Some among you may well remember me from my previous fundraising for Cancer Research UK (and in recent years I have raised over £8000 for them taking part in treks in Peru and Chile, as well as running the New York Marathon last year). My new fundraising is well underway and will continue through 2009 and hopefully beyond. I have a knack of getting some really cool items for auction, and hope that someone out there will really enjoy bidding on the amazing items I have available. There will be new auctions going online ALL week.

Hey,

thanks very much, it was a lot of work, but worth it. My current total for my event sits at almost £1400, and I am already planning more events for next year. Onwards and upwards.
