A question for Wrestling collectors?

Unread post by Madina »

Has anyone on here purchased anything from Power Pro Wrestling Figures (ebay id: ppwf2006)? Are there autographs authentic? I had a look and some of them look really legit but I am put off by the fact they have about 30 "signed" photo's of Triple H and The Undertaker who are both really hard signers to get IP. They have a really good feedback score(over 6000). But what are your opinions on them?

I don't do wrestling at all, and wouldn't know about their authenticity, but maybe this is a company or store that holds private/public signings with the wrestlers. If that's the case, then they probably have the people sign extras after the lines at the signings die down.
I'm also a portrait artist!

I know the seller you're referring to, they do have authentic stuff, but they also have stuff that personally I wouldnt want even if it was free - this includes a lot of HHH/Taker stuff. Their "normal" looking 8x10s are the ones that concern me most, whereas the majority of the official promos look pretty good. And dont get me started on their Eddie Guerrero stuff. Im pretty sure they buy the "normal" photos I referred to from another ebayer, as they have a strong resemblence to another seller's fakes.

Thanks. Yeah I thought that most of the promos looked genuine. I also have my doubts over the normal 8x10's. The quantities of Triple H/Undertaker is off putting, especially as these two are hard to get IP. Also the Benoit and Guerrero "signed" items seem to be endless. I also noticed the Flair autographes pics are nothing like his signature. My friend is quite naive and said that they had an excellent feedback score and also they stated that they dont sell copies or fakes so she trusted them lol
