Absolouty amazed how quick this was

On Thursday (24th July) I sent a letter and SASE only to David using:
Royal Shakespeare Company
The Courtyard Theatre
Southern Lane
Stratford-upon-Avon
Warwickshire
CV37 6BB

And today (26th July) I recieved a doctor Who postcard signed and personalized. I can only assume the peronalization is authentic and not secretarial because it looks a bit rushed as does the sig. Also the edication looks a little different to the usual ones. Also it couldnt have been set to him and then to a secreatry and back to me in just 2 days.

Over the moon by this. A bit dissapointed that I still have not got my own photo back that I sent to him a few months ago but this makes up for it as im sure the personalizaion is real by him.

Cant get over it only took 2 days - would have thought he must have tons of mail already.

Not sure when the addy is valid for but at least a couple of months.

Should sign the Hamlet pic as the RSC said they will sign play related items which that is but no Doctor Who or Star Trek photos or other photos of Patrick or David. This makes it sound they arent even alound to sign autograph books which is a bummer

Where did you buy the hamlet photo?? and what do you make of the personalization?? Unless he had a secretary with him he must have signed it for me to get it back in 2 days flat!

Signing play related items prevents autograph hunters and sellers from getting dozens of Dr Who or Star Trek related items signed and being able to sell them straight away. I know not everyone with these kind of pictures are sellers but they don't want to take the risk so ask for programmes when signing (readily available to be bought upon entry to the RSC).

Tennant is doing Hamlet until November. So for bulk of mail I would say send a letter no later than the end of October.
