Celebs would always exist even without fans...movies will still be made with or without fans more than likely. I think that you're ridiculous for posting this. Celebrities are PEOPLE, I'm sure there are things that you don't have time to do that's just something added on top of a busy schedule.

Celebrities do a job, just like the rest of the population. Their job is to make great movies/albums. They don't owe us anything other than to entertain us with their talent.
I don't take offense if they don't have time to sign autographs. I'd rather they concentrate on doing what we love them for. I do think it's a little rude if they snub you IP but I think that's rude of anyone, famous or not.

Ok my opinion on this.

Celebrities are busy people, they get lots and lots of fanmail. I don't expect anyone of them to give me an autograph.
However with that being said. I do think that signing autographs comes with the job, the fan adoration and everything that comes with it just goes with being a celebrity. If I was a celebrity I think if I wouldn't have the time to answer every letter, I would hire someone to do it for me, and maybe pass on a few letters that are really special.
Just think about it this way, at least Matthew Fox sends you a preprint. A lot of celebrities don't even do that, you might get a rts or nothing. You can't expect an autograph ttm or ip ever. If you do get something just be happy about it, when you don't get anything just don't write them again and understand that they are just to busy.
And one more thing about Matthew Fox, being someone that have met him in person several times, he is a really great guy, and a very good signer. He gets more fanmail than any other Lost character, so give the guy some credit for at least sending his fans a preprint.
