the only proper one ive had is at Argos. been there for almost two years now, losing my weekends cos i need money :P it started off pretty good - for a good few months we had no manager and some good times were had :lol: its a fairly decent job, the worst part is that cos i work in the stockroom i come home filthy every time :P do get to play with all the toys though...

i did a bit of work experience at a GSK research place last year. that was pretty cool - got to play with all the little gadgets they've got. theres a heck of a lot of money in that place. free drinks machines and everything :lol: so although it was unpaid and just for a week, that was probably the best work i've done.

aw. got to leave argos next month cos off i go to uni. im sure i'll get some bad jobs up there :P

I've looked after old people since I left school. I've worked in three homes and the one I work at now is definitely the best. My boss is AWESOME! She's a good laugh and I get away with murder there! I work with two of my best friends aswell so that's a bonus :lol:
My worst job ever was working in a pub over the summer a couple of years ago. I don't drink so I had no idea what some drinks looked like :lol: My boss knew all this before I started but he used to belittle me for asking questions and was always swearing at me infront of customers. In the end I just walked out!

My very best job I ever had was working at the world's best toy store, FAO Schwarz. Unfortunately they closed here where I live. The worst job was working at B Dalton Booksellers. I didn't like the manager. :D {up} {down}

My worst job ever was a temp job, on the minimum wage, where I had to file and label 16,000 extremely jumbled up medical records in a doctors surgery. The people working there were really horrible and rude and expected me to finish the whole lot in a week whereas it actually took me a whole day just to do the letter "A". So I was really stressed out and deserved a lot more appreciation for doing such a dreadful, endless, frustrating job. Nobody even said thanks, they just treated me like dirt.
Also, the records had to go in large boxes which weighed three stone each (I stuck one on some scales) and I had to lug them around and lift them onto high shelves so I did my back in. No concept of health and safety at this place.
I can't begin to describe how bad it was. I was only there a fortnight and it seemed like forever. :( :(

I also worked as a waitress in a really bitchy pub and got fired after two and a half days. :mad: I hadn't done anything wrong, they just said I "wasn't fast enough with the plates." I'd never waitressed before and I was so scared about dropping them. Didn't give me much chance to learn, did they :(

Best job was my voluntary placement for 6 months working with mentally ill teenagers. We did art, drama, played badminton, baked cakes, gardening, it was so much fun and everyone there was really great. It was such a laugh and great experience for me. I miss them all a lot. {??}

Hmmm, worst job I ever had was a tie between in the kitchen at the hospital, and Directory Assistance for a certain telephone company, which will remain nameless. Best Job I've ever had Is the one I have now, Working for Metlife!
