Need a little advice
Okay, I know it's all about patience. However, I have a small question. I sent to Freddie Highmore about two months ago. I've read through all the success's and saw that it's usually taken under 1 month to write back. I do know to wait 3 - 6 months, but in this case I'm not sure. I've read success of it taking only 5 days. Should I send another letter or just wait it out? Trust me I'm not being impatient by any means. I'm just a little concerned that my letter possibly didn't make it to him or something. (I live in the U.S.) And if he receives two letters from me I don't want him to think I'm being greedy or just trying to get his autograph to sell. Any advice from more experienced collectors?

Re: Need a little advice
Well, sometimes letters do get lost, so you have 2 options:
1. Just relax and wait. Maybe you were unlucky and you're letter will just take a little longer. {thumb2}
2. Send him another one. Especially if you really want that specific autograph, it's not just for collecting sake. But do realize that you may be wasting money. :neutral:
And if you do decide to send another one but doesn't want to sound greedy, explain it in the letter ! Make a small observation explaining that you are not sure if your other letter reached him or not.. (I don't know why people never concider just telling the celebs the truth..
)]
Hope I helped !

Re: Need a little advice
I'd wait a little longer. I've written to some people in another country and many people have gotten stuff back, but I haven't. But I know that some people that sent about the same time I did haven't gotten anything back yet. So I'd give it some more time, you never know maybe other people are waiting too. Plus I've heard depending on the time, it can take up to 6 weeks for something to make it overseas.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know about the 6 weeks. The post office worker told me 6 days at most, however, the worker also didn't know what an IRC was so lol... Thanks again!Melindabear2002 wrote:I'd wait a little longer. I've written to some people in another country and many people have gotten stuff back, but I haven't. Re: Need a little advice
It just depends I've found. Because I got really mad once and then went to the post office and was told that when it's coming from say London to the USA it depends and can take up to six weeks to get back to you. I'm not sure why. But hey I'd rather wait that be outta luck.
