If they are saying that they are all out, then that surely means they are authentic. If they were secretarial, they could just sign them for anyone that asks.

Or it just means that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and emailing (not that its anything new, everytime an email gets posted on here it gets abused. Plus with everyone jumping on the Olympic bandwagon, I'd assume the requests have increased 1000%, and most are probably from people who had never heard of him before the Olympics ) and they have better/more important things to do with their time than sign 100s of pics, especially seeing as the speedo site is not designed for autograph requests

I think is authentic, they could have signed the pics before too but don't.... there are people that don't receive any success for months from speedo.....why not? (sorry for my english )

In my opinion, Michael Phelps pre signed a bunch of 5x7 postcards before the Olympics and Speedo is sending out the authentic autographs they have in stock of their most famous athlete under contract right now.

Speedo has no interest in sending out secretarials or fakes. None.

Good job to those who got one, I asked for mine a few days ago, I will let everyone know how it goes.

I am not just jumping the wagon I have been a huge phelps fan for years! I have his autograph but it seems to be a stamped one on the is my autograph authentic section I just wanted a real one but it was too bad they ran out

After looking at all those authentic Phelps signatures you can say a few things about his autograph :

1. Michael Phelps autograph is very sloppy and inconsistent

2. Michael Phelps doesn't sign the same way twice

3. An authentic Phelps sometimes doesn't look like an authentic Phelps.

4. It looks like what Speedo is handing out is authentic, in my opinion.
