type of envelope
I'm going to sent the letters and autograph requests to two actors in England. Is it okay to use clasp envelope?

Re: type of envelope
Hi!
I've sent a few requests using clasp envelopes, but that's because the store near my house only sells clasp ones. Usually, people say that the picture could get damagaed from the clasp. I've never had this problem, and my pictures came back in good condition. However, it is possible that it could get damaged. I would suggest getting envelopes without clasps (if you can) to minimize the risk of getting your autograph damaged.
Good luck!

Re: type of envelope
I usually wouldn't send out the clasp ones- assuming you mean the yellowish/brown ones with the little metal clip/bent thing at the top that goes through the hole (for lack of a better description), but they should be fine. The only thing I would advise is to add a piece of clear packing tape or the equivalent and seal it up better than just relying on the clasp. I am not positive how it would damage the photo unless you mean when pulling the photo in/out in which case you could just put a piece of thicker tape on the inside covering the metal.
