To me Barack Obama is a big, big gimmick. It’s all about the image that his consultant has put together for him. He has no substance, no history, and no experience whatsoever. It is like buying an egg with a nice looking shell from the supermarket only to find out there’s no yolk inside.

Having said that I am not saying Im 100% comfortable with McCain Palin. McCain has cancer and he is 72 years old. Lets say if he dies during the 4 years, Sarah Palin will be president and I do not even want to think about what chaos that will create She is very ignorant and too conserative. Sarah Palin's face turns red (yes like this: ) when she gets interviewed by a reporter. She looks very horrified and very scared every single time and then she would give the reporter an irrelevent answer which McCain made her memorized.. Just Cant imagine her as a VP or possibily even the President!

Obama is America's big gimmick, though, just like Bush (i'm not a republican nor democrat, can't you tell? lol). I agree...McCain has a very slim chance of even making it through a full term of presidency, in my opinion. I mean...it's cancer, right? You can't expect him to last that long if he is at 72...Palin will be a deer stuck in headlights if she gets announced president over McCain. I can't imagine how the U.S. would even react to that. I'm still even deciding if i am even going to vote this year. Whoever i vote for, I know i'm going to regret it either way.

Yes, McCain has a slimmer chance of winning then Obama. However, what happened in the 1945 UK General Elections? Everyone expected Winson Churchill to win BUT at the end it was Clement Attlee So I guess nothing is impossible

How can you say that Obama sounds nervous when he speaks, when you have McCain running? McCain just said 2 weeks ago that the fundamentals of the economy were strong. A more ignorant statement could not have been made in light of the economic crisis the whole world is facing.
I think McCain is a decent man, and before the election I agreed with a lot of his positions as he was pretty liberal, but since getting the nomination he has changed a lot of his positions to please conservative republicans and that bothers me a lot.

Did you guys know that while Barack Obama was making a statement about the bail-out (on which he invited McCain to join him), McCain was on Rachel Ray talking about grills. This after he suspended his campaign to put all his energy into sorting the economy.

It amazes me how in light of everything that has happened over the last eight years, Americans will most likely once again elect a man who has voted with Bush 95% of the time.

Anyone watch the presidential debate last night? I thought it was pretty interesting. I started getting bored with it by the time Obama called McCain about 2 or 3 different names by mistake.

Just got back from Washington D.C. So thrilled to have seen the white house! I am voting for Obama for sure! America can NOT continue with another Bush like president. They are already trying to borrow $700 Billion who knows what would happen if McCaine became president or God forbid Palin.

I am going to vote for McCain/Palin I like them both because I think that McCain is by far not another Bush becasue he is got more foreign policy experience than Bush and Cheney and Obama all put together.I can't wait to see Sarah Palin and Joe Biden because Biden is annoying and he will make a complete fool out of himself in that debate. I did watch the debate and thought the clear winner was McCain because her actually answered the questions. He may have voted with Bush on things but atleast he voted. Obama has voted over 139 times present. And yes Palin is qualified because she was a Gov. and she did get more votes a Mayor than Biden got as a pres. canidate.

John McCain know what he is doing. He has WAY more experiance than Obama does!
Plus, Obama talks the talk, but he doesn't and won't walk the walk. Obama needs to go back to Illinois and stick with senator. The fact is O-BOMB-US...I mean OBAMA HAS NO EXPERIANCE!!
Also do you notice how Obama talks in his speeches? He sounds like he is very nervous and makes up things.
He is always like, "Well, ummmm, uhh...."
It is so obvious to see that Obama is not ready to lead the U.S.

i'm from illinois. :o GObama is a lot more underestimated then you think. do you really want a 72 year old with cancer running the country? i was torn until mccain picked palin as his running mate. imagine what would happen with her as president - possibly even worse then bush which isn't saying much.

Sarah Palin was GOVERNOR of the WHOLE STATE of Alaska!
Barack Obama was SENATOR of Illinois! He was not even governor and you guys think he can run a country let alone a state!! .........

look at the population difference between the two. alaska doesn't have close to a million, illinois has over 12 million. osiris is british and he knows more than you - that's embarassing
