well, I mailed to him in March or April.. so here's hoping that he does sign that.

I can understand why he won't sign anymore, but it's still a shame. As long as he's happy, that's what matters.

The only way the beetles, and the only reason why ringo starr is famous,
Is because of his 'fans'.

They have given him a life of fame, with money, glam, everything!
And it return, he cant sign a little cd, or write his name on a photo...

One little cd? When you think about it...he is signing probably thousands of items every month. Could you handle signing that much every year? I'm sure he is getting sick of it...everyone is trying to get him because he is one of the last of the fab four. Plus he is touring and such...i'm sure he just wants a break like every other celebrity, but he just made it loud and clear unlike secretly beginning to send out preprints or autopens. :?

People don't use this forum all the time. There are people who don't post here at all and use the addresses provided. So...there is no limit to who sends for his autograph. Why would you think he would be complaining about getting so much fan mail?

Oh well, that's it for the beatles then, but if his so upset, why does'ot, he ask for maybe $15-20 per autograph, and he can make some money out of it, and fan's can get his autograph.

But at the end of the day, it does'ot matter that much, as there are many more celebs, to write too, sure I would love his autograph, but there's to many celebs, to write too to worry, about one that stops signing.

I somehow don't believe he is the busiest celeb on the planet and I don't believe he doesn't have the time to write to the people who made him rich and famous and are still keeping the memory of the Beatles alive. But perhaps before he suddenly stated that "all mail will be tossed" he should have tried a compromise, and if he does get a lot of mail from the same people... it only takes a note to say don't write to me again, and then there is a little bit less to sort through. Or even do what some people do, and only sign one thing per person.

He could definitely have been nicer about it.
