have you ever spelt a celebs name wrong in a letter

hey guys im wondering if you ever spelt a celebs first or last name wrong in a letter? i have once i spelt alex trebek's name wrong i spelt it trebeck. oh well im kinda embarrsed by it he still send me a signed photo and signed my letter. what about you.

I know for a fact I've done it with Denny Delk (twice! in the "Star Wars" credits it's spelled 'Welk' intead of 'Delk', so it really wasn't my fault) and Phill Lewis.


They receive so many letters that it probably doesn't phase them... we can't be the only people that misspell names! Although I guess it is sorta bad for us fans to get the names wrong of our favorite celebrities!

ya i know lol. alex himself said lots of people add a c to his name(he didnt say it to me but hes mentioned it before) im sure they dont mind because were still taking time to write them whether we add a letter or forget a letter in their name

I just once spelt wrong a title of a movie the celeb I was writing to starred in, but never a name (and I hope I never will ).

I don't think I have. I know I've written my own name wrong once or twice. Of course, since I ask for personalisation, I rewrite the letter... but spelling anything wrong on a letter gets me so annoyed that I screw the paper up and throw it across the room lol
