I have emailed for some of these today (I know theyre pre prints but definitely better than nothing - for now!!) but although I emailed for about 15, I only had a few emails back.Is that normal or do I have to try again.

You don't get an email back from all of them. I've gotten quite a few successes, but only one reply email.

You can't really search their website; i've tried

But, look at THIS page and see if the person you are looking for is on the list or not.
That list is updated regularly
