Judy Kuhn held two concerts at Joe's Pub on October 5 & October 6.

Address is no longer valid

Judy Kuhn is perhaps Broadway's best actrest and singer to have never won a Tony or Oliver Award, yet be nominated. Kuhn's first nomination came when she originated the role of Cosette in the Broadway premiere of the "world's most popular musical": LES MISeRABLES in 1987. She was nominated as Best Featured Actress, but lost to her co-castmate Frances Ruffelle who played Eponine. Kuhn starred in the 1989 London production of METROPOLIS, based off of the film of the same name, and was nominated for the Olivier Award in London, but lost. The show never made it to Broadway.

Before Metro.., came CHESS, the first ABBA Musical, which garnered her her first Tony Award Nomination for Leading Actress for her portrayal of Florence. However, Kuhn lost again. Kuhn was nominated for her third and final Tony Award in 1993 for "She Loves Me" as a Roundabout Revival.

In 1994, Kuhn created the role of Better Schaeffer in the Los Angeles company of SUNSET BLVD.; Kuhn received raves for the role, but declined to go onward with the company to Broadway (after it had become apparent of a transfer from LA rather than from London), for indeed she wanted to have children. However, 94-95 proved to be big years for Kuhn. After Sunset, she did the singing voice for POCHANTAS, the feature film, and can be heard on that soundtrack. Furthermore, she performed the role of Cosette at the filmed 10th Anniversary concert.

In 1997 Kuhn was part of Disney's ill-fated musicalized version of the King David bible story, which played 10 performances, and was later pulled off as a "concert-version" of the show. In October 2007, Kuhn took over the role of FANTINE in the LES MISeRABLES revival, until it's closure on January 6, 2008.

I actually had intended to stage door for Judy when I saw the Les Mis revival for my fourth time and spent $111.50 to sit at the top of the theatre (wehn the row behind me was paying $36!! AHAHAH). However, of course complications, yadah yadah, but regardless I got to see her! And of course, now I have one more of my most wanted autographs!
WONDERLAND:Alice's New Musical Adventure enjoyed a short, but sweet run on Broadway in Spring of 2011!

I have to admit I was pretty suprised Joe's would too. But I really love Judy and wanted that auto! HAHA So I tried, and wa laa. But I wouldn't count on them passing it on for everyone: Kuhn is somewhat a "regular" there, and often performs there for atleast 2-3 days at a time (last February was all her!).

haha, I think at one point I did see that on the calender of Joe's. Quite happy that you got a reply back. See, we just need to break the "what if..?" barrier and send the requests and then hope like hell LOL
