Hmmm, I don't think those would work because the awards are given out monthly, so a new experienced person every month would be a bit impossible. Also, there is already similar enough awards to those, for example "Best Site Contributer", "Best TTM Success" and "Best In Person Success". {thumb2} Thanks for the ideas anyways, James! :)

Q 8)
That could be a problem, but if admin asks for permission to use them, then it could work. The smiley for "Most Friendliest Member" is from this site itself and the "Best TTM Success" icon are from the Fanmail.biz database, you'll recognise it as the feedback received icon (I'm sure admin could use it here too). {up} So if Shambler could perhaps tell admin where the icons are from, then they could work too. {thumb2} They're pretty awesome by the way, Michelle! :D

Thanks all,

not necessarily, most of the icons on there are author submitted and each has its own license regulations. As long as it's for non-commercial use, you can use most of them... (I am assuming this would be included as non-commercial). But if Admin were to request rights individually for the icons, he would have to go through each author individually.

Copyright of icons belong to original authors. Public usage license can be found on each icon set page.
*from site

The reason I question if this application is non-commercial is because of the ".biz" ending- which is suppose to be for commercial businesses, and while fanmail isn't exactly a commercial business, it does generate ad revenue, but I don't think that'd count.

Wow, thank you SO much for those, corekid! {clap} If I'm not mistaken, those are all icons for phpBB message boards, so we could use them easily, right? :) Thanks, you're all the best! :mrgreen:

Now, if anyone wants to add more awards, please to do soon, I personally think we have amazing awards so far, we could perhaps add mabey 1 or 2 more. {thumb2} What about "Best Newbie" - that would be an award for a member who has registered in the last 3 months but who has already made themself famous by posting popular topics/feedback or made any type of positive impact. {up} An award like that will inspire newbies to be more active and leave interesting posts instead of posting just "congrats" in every single feedback... :roll:
And the icon could be => :oops:

Thanks all!! :D

Can AE's be included in the "Best moderator" award too? Or there can be a seperate award for AE's possibly?

Otherwise I think everything is great and I am very excited about this it :mrgreen:

Possibly "Best Moderator" should be changed to Fanmail Team Member, (although that sounds lousy, [MVP sounds better])- either way, Autograph Experts should be included like JasonW said, otherwise there's only two real candidates for an AE award.

Yes, I agree 100% with you two - I forgot to add AE's too (and they're one of the most important members here!). :oops: I actually like your idea, Matt - "Best Fanmail Team Member" sounds good to me! :mrgreen: I've changed it, but feel free to give your input too. {thumb2} Thank you Matt and Jason! :D

Yes, for each award/topic there is a specific Moderator who will control it - members can nominate and the Mod sets up a poll for everyone to vote throughout the month. {up} You can read more info on the specifics in my first post. :mrgreen: Thank you very much sunkissed08! {thumb2}

Thanks,
