Idina Menzel - Very Excited!

Hi all,

I know this is random, but I just wanted to share my excitement. On October 22, I am going to be seeing an off-Broadway show called "See What I Wanna See" with one of my favorite actresses/singers of all time - Idina Menzel! Anyone who is a fan of the musical "Rent" (see my user name ) or "Wicked" knows who she is, and I just hope I have the opportunity to meet her (and possibly get a photo that I bought of her signed...) after the show.

Any thoughts on Idina, "Rent," or other Broadway-related topics are welcome here. It would be great to hear who some of your favorite theater actors/actresses and plays/musicals are!

That is really great It is fantastic when you get to meet your idol!!!!

Just an idea (which has worked for me in the past):

Why don't you write to Idina c/o the theatre and tell her how much you like her, what a great fan you are etc etc. Near the end of the letter (don't make it too long) ask her if it would be possible to meet her back stage in person. Also, if you already have your tickets, put your seat numbers on your letter. That way, if she is willing to see you, then she can leave a message at the box office for you, or get one of her people to come and speak with you in your seat.

I will not guarantee it will work, but what do you have to lose? And a lot to gain!!!!!!
