Christmas

I'd love to see some other places at Christmas, but I love to be at home for the actual Christmas day.
I go to my parents house in the morning (they live very close anyway), they open their presents and we eat (Maybe watch a film or something as well).
Later, we come back to mine where I open my presents and we have another Christmas dinner. I have a few games and karaoke, so we do that too.

I'm going on a snowboarding trip right before christmas, and when I get home i'm sure i'll just lounge around and open presents. I love buying presents for people as well!

We always have quite a big family get together, we either go round to my sisters house for christmas dinner and to exchange presents, or we go out for a meal, and then go back to my sister's to exchange presents.
This will be my first Christmas away from home, but I am really looking forward to it.

I'm hoping ot get up to NYC during Christmas too.

The only downside: the crowds/people. Literally, I went up last year and everything was packed and everyone was watching the people assemble the ball in TimesSquare! I was almost late to my "last time" seeing Les Miserables! (But I saw it twice this summer HAHA). No I love NYC during Christmas/New Years, just so crowded!

I'm working like I do every year! I it! We dress up, the residents dress up, we have party games, watch Christmas TV and after dinner Alan & I sing and play Christmas carols on guitar for everyone in the lounge. It's so much fun and doesn't feel like work at all {thumb2}

wow, I'm so one of the older ones answering this post. Haha.. I'm not really that old, but this year my husband and I are staying with my mother because I'll have a newborn. My family is multi-cultural, so we're celebrating Christmas and Hanukkah at the same time. I'm looking forward to my daughters first holidays, even though she won't have a clue what's going on.

And I live about 45mins - 1 hour and a half (depending on traffic) from NYC - whoever is going - you'll love it, be sure to stop by the store displays, and try and take in a show - especially the Radio City Christmas Spectacular - the Rockettes are my husbands favorite (he always drools over them) And if you get a chance, be sure to go to FAO Schwarz.
