Hi,

As expected, no one signed when leaving for the game from hotel, no players from SA ever have done in the last 5 years. But I gave it a go, and I managed to get:

Victor Matfield
Danie Rossouw

who both signed index cards when they went across the road to Starbucks! They don't sign on the way to the game as they are 'focused for the game', which I and the other collectors accepted, and all the players were polite and said hello.

However was happy to get the two that I got, and even happier to see one of the greatest rugby players at the moment, Habana, in front of me!

Hi James!

Congrats on Danie and Victor - they're awesome, they both play for the Blue Bulls too, which I support (I live 1 kilometer away from Loftus stadium in Pretoria). I have almost the whole SA squad in person, I always go after the game for autographs. {thumb2} I do find it very strange that none of the signed, they always sign here. I have about 5 in person autographs from Bryan Habana! He's always super nice, and another Bulls player! {love} Always very lovely. I am a huge rugby fan, the Springboks is the best!

They were all happy to sign after the game, but that was too late for me to stay for. They were very nice, but it is the team's policy, and always has been here, to not sign when elaving the hotel to the game as they have had a focusing session, it is the same for the Aussies as well.

Wow, 5 Habana's! Hopefully I'll be able to get him one day!

Yes, I always wait for the players after the games, but it does get very late sometimes! I think I waited more than 2 hours for Jonny Wilkinson last year when England toured to SA - I was very determined to meet him! Luckily it was all worth it as I did get my photo signed by him - he's a great guy too. {thumb2}
