I thought it was pretty good, it went a little fast but it follows the book well. I'd give it a 7.5/10 maybe an 8. It was pretty empty when I saw it bc we were at a 10am showing, most were at school and my sister and I had the day off. We didn't see or hear any screaming girls until we left and saw the line for the next showing. I def. loved the baseball scene and when Bella meets the Cullen family. I also like the prom and ballet studio scenes too.
NOTE 3/26/09: I will be checking in on the site when I can, I just work a lot, and I'm in college so I don't want people to think I left for the other board. Thanks!

The ballet scene was rather good. Dramatic and Kristen did pretty well with the agony.

I just saw it tonight.

It def. went wayy too fast. One of my friends who saw the movie without reading the book kinda got the impression "Why should I care about them..? In a split second he was saying his life was her, now."
So yeah, I see where she's coming from because theres so much more they could have added to increase the chemistry between Edward and Bella. Yeah, it would have made the movie longer, but hey. How long are the Harry Potter books? And the Twilight books are up there in length.
