British comedy stars

All my favorite stars are british comedy actors (I'm American). I was just wondering if anyone out there has met any of them and what were they like in person. I mostly like the older classic tv shows such as Keeping Up Appearances, One Foot in the Grave, Only Fools, Summer Wine, etc. Being over here I will never get to meet any of them so I would just like to hear from those who have. Thanks!

I haven't met any comedy actors but I have met the comedian Alan Carr. He's such a nice person! Just like he is on TV, so funny! I would LOVE to meet Rowan Atkinson and Clive Swift though
