Any Daniel Radcliffe Equus Playbill requests?

I'm looking to write to the Equus play, but wanted to know if they sent out the autographed playbills like my "All My Sons" one. Do they???

I sent a request back in September for an autographed playbill but they sent me one unsigned. I sent it back, just asking Daniel to sign and I got it back signed by him.

i sent a request to the stage manager for a signed playbill by the cast but havent gotten anything yet. but when i went to see it i got both daniels and richards autos in person...i will let you know if i get anything back soon.

Hey Ryan, Glad to see your new interest in Playbills!

Unfortunately, I have also sent and heard nothing back (twice now). The only ones I have heard people get signed are from around September/October, which was firstly, the opening, and secondly to my knowledge the EQUUS Revival has stopped collecting for BC/EFA Charity, only online donations; and obviously the auction has long been over.

After seeing the LEGALLY BLONDE tour this past Saturday, I wouldn't be suprised if they started it up during the holiday season (typically Broadway's most crowded time, but who knows about this year !). Anyway, usually BC/EFA has buckets to collect but will also sell signed Playbills (usually $10-$25), windowcards ($35-$100 or more), and various other things. The BLONDE tour for those who have seen the show or even the movie, sold playbills, souvenir programmes (all signed), a cutout of the sign Elle jumps out of and autographed by Elle (Becky Gulsvig), they had been selling jumpropes (Brooke Wyndam ones) I assume signed by Brooke (Coleen Sexton...I would have totally bought one!!, but not sold the night I was there), and of course Elle's Pink (and scented, although I doubt it's actually scented!) Resume, Headshot & LSAT Score used in the show(s) all signed by Elle.

But I'm guessing EQUUS is done with playbills. MANY stage managers won't do them for several reasons, mostly they don't have time and many usually end up on eBay, which defeats the purpose (similar to regular autographs anyway).

I'd suggest you try to get in touch with someone over at BC/EFA's organization and ask if they have any Equus playbills and you'd be willing to pledge either $10 or $25 (I'm guessing hte latter would be better..or a $20 or something!). Hey, it's tax deductable, a great cause, and I'm sure you're parents would be iether happy to pay it for you or allow you to do it or whatnot!

Thanks so mcuh for the advice ScarletPimpernel {thumb2}. And yes, Playbill collecting is a totally new start to my autograph collection. I can't believe I didn't look into doing this years ago!
