Donruss Americana cards

Has anyone else had a problem getting Donruss Americana cards signed? I just recieved one back from Diane Franklin unsigned and a letter saying that she is under contract with Donruss and is required to charge for an autograph. I've sent a few out and this is the first one that I have gotten back.

Yep, sent one to Diane Franklin and got the same letter, very nice of her. Have'nt gotten any others back, but I guess I wont be getting any of the Donruss cards I sent out back, at least I only bought a few packs in a Kmart box and I wont be spending any more money on those. I figured they were under contract, Donruss isnt going to want to devalue thier cards by having people sign TTM for free. Thanks for the post :neutral:

i don't really know about the contract thing... but i do know that the cards arent easy to sign on... the ink bubbles up on them when you write on them with sharpie... i sent one to bobby allison a while back and got it back and the auto was barely visible with how bad it bubbled up... so i took a pencil eraser and rubbed the front of the card and resent it... the ink seemed to hold better then
